Look in the 3rd col "Payload".
If it says "2.7L Ecoboost", that means it has the 2.7L EB version of the HD payload including the 9.5" rear end gears. The 1960# GVWR has the 2.7L EB version of the HD Payload package.
If the 3rd column says "Heavy-Duty" that's the regular non-2.7L HD Payload option, but there are no weights available for that now.
Oh yeah, I see it now on those others.
I'm not impressed then with the payload figures? Seems like they reduced weight and reduced GVWR by the same amount of the weight they lost.
Exactly, at least for the 2.7L EB. But Ford pretty much has the best half-ton payloads around so it probably didn't need to boost them. And by lowering the GVWR it could use lighter/cheaper components too, like the rear axles.
Not sure what the #'s will be like for the 5L V8 or the 3.5L EB though.
