Flew out Wed. night, picked up truck Thursday. a.m. left for home after lunch and a trip to Home Depot for some trip stuff. Almost 24hrs later got home, including stopping at the car wash to hose off all the BUGS! Construction wasn't to bad. Mpg's were up to 19.4 half way thru 3rd tank............until I hit I-95 in CT. OMG traffic with no apparent cause. Used the Nav to hit side streets and keep-frog around traffic.
Small issue with tire pressure, dealer had set it at 80/65 ......R/F. Instead of 80F/65R (for DRW) this caused some skittering of the azz end, and some nose diving in sharp turns. Pulled up TPIS on the EVIC and 'Paid attention' to the actual info. Immed pulled off at a station and corrected issue.
This truck is VERY quiet, the EB is just noticeable in Auto. A/C will flat run you out! The seat fans work even with out the A/C on. Was able to register Uconnect and Sirius/xm in just a few minutes ( as I was doing it from the truck, they already new that it was the 1 yr free plan) Enter N Go is very cool! Electric rear window w/electric defrost, fold flat rear seats (had to remove the headrests from the outboard seats to see out).
WARNING: for those with the CHMSL Camera, make sure no one is looking at the cab (from the rear) when you turn it on! It is very bright.
Note: it came with Nexen tires, I saw that in pics that salesman sent me. Had him put Michelin's on. Now I have 6 extra spares;) when the sun started to go down, I REALLY noticed the mirror turn signals, they are very bright. Overall, I love this truck, although I think I will have to flip the axles on my 5er because the azz end is so high.
Duraflap rear flaps will be here on Tue. Went to Geno's Garage on line and ordered some stuff. Wife was very impressed when she went to look at the new baby (I call her "Fat Bottomed Gal" a la Queen. She didn't make the trip due to health issues.
I look forward to many miles under the tires:)
