OT: My Other Hobby Is.........

Besides the enormous amount of time I spent working on my PortaNobby TT, I also spend time working on and driving my 1983 Mercedes 280SL.

I've been all across Canada and around the USA....I haven't hit every state yet, but eventually...when I'm not camping!

I've met a ton of Benz enthusiasts over the years and have forged some great friendships. I spend a lot of time on another forum as well...Benzworld.org.

And every year I drive 1050 miles round trip to Great Barrington, Mass for a car show in honour of one of my buddies who died early from Cancer

Grandpa Kip,
Have any pictures of the woodworking? Enquiring old geezers that make dust would like to see.

Keep up the veggie growing. Our garden is fallow this year and that is a shame since we've gone to a lot of time to get it right. We have three raised beds that can be covered, the hoops are in place. One year, when I got crazy with tomatoes, we had the "tunnel-o-tomatoes", an arbor 6' high that could be walked through with tomatoes growing overhead.

Three of the Grandkids were just here for a week. That was a lot of fun and a lot of activity. Grands keep a guy healthy.

Will try to post some pics when we get home. We're at Hunting Island for another week.
Grandkids keep you young, also.

I'm big into my hobbies. Home audio turned into home audio/video, turned into building a theater in our home. I have stadium seating, a bar, a 14' wide screen and a custom built audio system that will rival your local IMAX theater.

I am building it from the studs up all by my lonesome.

In this photo you see no flooring and temporary counter tops.

Outside of that, some tech hobbies, including video editing.

I make wine & beer, sew stuff to sell on Etsy and play the cello. I've done each of them while camping. Except just labeling then drinking the wine & beer.
