Our new vacation "home"

We are the proud new owners of a new-to-us 2005 1181 Lance camper 🙂

We've been fulltiming in our 5th wheel for 5 years but wanted the camper to take to Alaska for the summer.
Sadly we just picked it up today and it goes into storage for 2 months tomorrow 😞

Looking forward to exploring in it this summer!

Maybe not. We tried to charge them and desulfate them and it looks like it didn't work.
It will have to wait until March now and see what we can do.

Quartzsite is great...lots of goodies for any RV. Great place to hang out in the winter especially for us north easterners.

Congrats on your 1181. We considered an 1181 when we were buying also. You will very much appreciate a TC for your Alaska trip. That was the first place we went right after taking possession of our new AF back in 2010.

I get so happy when I read about another person getting their TC. I too got a "new to me" TC. Mine is a 76 Amerigo. Unfortunately, I have to wait to use it until it is re-built. Kind of like you, mine is also in "storage". Alaska is also in my future... just have to wait till we retire.
