Outback LOFT ripped linoleum remove floor slide out?

I think you better figure out what's under your slide and how it works. You may find your slide won't clear the new floor.

I think most guys just slide the plank under the slide floor, no need to remove it. I don't have slides so when I did mine, I just butted the plank as close to the walls and fixtures as I could. I don't have any base shoe or edging, just caulked a couple of areas where I thought the plank may move.

When I selected the laminate plank, I made sure to buy material that had all but the joint side sealed. That takes a lot of worry about moisture out of the equation. The Pergo that I installed in the S&B, in the Kitchen and Dining room is going on 25 years. It is just like new. For the trailer, I chose the cheapest plank I could find at Lumber Liquidators. It is hanging in there well.
