Outdoor Kitchen Door/Hinge/Piston

just returned from 10 days in FL. Outdoor kitchen door seemed to get more difficult to close each day. Long aluminum hinge/bracket that mounts the door to the unit finally broke, and caused the door material/fiberglass panel to actually pull out of the frame casing. Piston arms are extremely tight. Has anyone had problems with these doors and do you have any solutions/suggestions.
The unit is a salem hemisphere and has only been used about six times. Thanks
  • The door hinge pistons come in different pressures so if they feel they are too tight/strong just replace them with ones with less pressure. Just make sure they will support the door when it is open.
