Quality cost money.

That said when it comes to travel trailers how they are cared for is as important as how they are made. There are cheap trailers that people use for 20 years and expensive ones that are trash after 5 years.

Having bought 2 Jaycos new, the last one we bought in '03 and had for 10 years, no troubles and aside from faded decals it was in excellent condition when we traded it. Both had minor fit and finish issues when new but are overall solid trailers.
