Painted My Coachmen Overhang
I thought I would share my experience with painting the overhang of our little Coachmen 070-sd.
As you can see from the before pictures it was pretty beat up and in need of some love.
Prepping the surface and digging out the old caulk was labor intensive.
For paint I used a Rustoleum oil based paint and applied it using a high density roller and pan. The key with this method is thinning out the paint to just the right consistency. I did get a couple of small runs and a few air bubbles, but overall It came out pretty darn good.
Here it is primed and ready to be rolled
Here we have the final results. I was unable to match the decal and I installed new LED marker lights. I used Proflex caulk around all the seams and window. We are pleased with the results.
Hope you enjoyed the pics and if I can do it, you can do it.
