- campincandiceExplorerApex, because of the Azdel in the walls. Hands down better than Passport!
- 1oldtruckExplorerI have a 2013 Apex 288BHS. It had a leak in the slide when I bought it new. It was repaired by the dealer immediately after delivery. No other leaks to date. Feels sturdy and tows well.
I don't know anything about the Passport though. - mfifield01ExplorerI've looked at both the Passport and Apex. I looked the 288BHS and 235BHS today. I liked the 288BHS.
What exactly is Azdel? - 1oldtruckExplorerIt's a bonded sidewall that is designed to eliminate the swelling that typically occurs with wood and fiberglass siding.
- mfifield01ExplorerWhat year did they start using Azdel?

Looks like 2006.
http://www.rvbusiness.com/tag/azdel-inc/ - martintoExplorerApex 279RLSS. Ultra light. Easy pull with my Yukon Denali...even in the NC mountains. Some TT's have come a long way, others not so far. The Apex line seems very well constructed, with only minor issues thus far. Not familiar with the Passport. Our third TT in 10 years. This should be our last, don't need to go any bigger.
