Pathway X2 Storage Bag

Does anyone have any ideas for storing/transporting the Pathway X2 satellite dish. We don't take it with us all the time and like to keep it in the house when we are not using it. It is approximately 23" X 23"round. A square box is to big and bulky. The best think I can come up with is an extra large laundry bag.
  • I believe in keeping it simple. Travel with it stowed on the shower floor. Carry it out by the attached handle. If you feel you must bag it, pick up a commercial laundry bag like you would see on a housekeeping cart at a hotel.
  • What I use for ours is a heavy duty construction plastic garbage bag. We carry it on the couch and have not had a problem as of yet. Stays right on the couch.
  • OK if its not avl., then you need to find a military surplus website and find a heavy duty gear bag.
A sporting gear bag might also work for you or better yet , drum cases . If that does work, try Tuba cases :)

drum cases , try the bass drum sizes
  • The above bag is no longer available. If you click on the link it takes you to camping world and states not available. I am looking for a bag or container that has some type of handles so it can be carried from the house to the camper. I don't take it with me all the time and want to keep it inside for the winter.

The actual moving parts of the antenna are already covered by the plastic casing of the antenna. All you would be doing is covering the cover.

X2 ^^. We are full-timers so always have our X2 with us. There is a cubby hole in the basement that it fits in perfectly - carpeted on the bottom and back. I put the antenna in the stow position and wrap/stuff a large plastic drop cloth (folded about four times) around it for a little padding. No problems in 20K+ miles.

  • Have not been able to find one, but if possible I would get someone to make a canvas duffle bag to fit.
