Picking up Truck Camper
So do I need to Remove my Tail Gate from the Truck or do I just open it and let it lay flat

And depending whether you've ever driven much with the tailgate down, one would realize that this doesn't happen. I've never tried just spinning donuts in gravel to see if I could hit the tailgate, but trip to AK and back and countless trips...everywhere, including plenty of winter road trips through snow country and I cannot say I've ever noticed any tailgate paint damage from driving with it down. I fairly OCD about my vehicles too, so if this was a thing, I wouldn't likely do it.
