Plugged in but draining battery. In the dark! Help!
New to us 2006 Salem LE 30BHBS
Brought it home. Plugged it in. Everything works! Left it all lit up pretty to admire it.
9 hours later. No lights. Microwave is on but lights only work when plugged into a tow vehicle (aka fresh battery). It's plugged in to shore power so why no lights?
Previous RV is a 1995 Fifth Wheel. We never even installed a battery so what we know about this is almost nil.
Feel free to mock us (we are!) but ummm ... Is there some obvious thing we are supposed to know or do that tells the camper to use the nice electric we pay for instead of sucking the batteries dry?
We are in the dark here. Literally!
