Ok I am downsizing and would like to get some input o a good popup to get into. I just traded my GMC 3500 For a GMC 1500 with a 6.2 with the Trailer Max. I Have a Lance 1030 witch has been a great camper, just not using it enough , And wanted to get into a smaller truck.

I would also recommend Four Wheel Campers. I have owned FWC continuously since 1983 and can vouch for toughness. If you have a 8' garage door it will fit nicely and my fully optioned Hawk weighs 1340 dry. A great match for your truck (nice choice by the way).

I used to own a GMC 1500 and I had a palomino 1603, I liked the pop up because you could store it in the garage. If I was going to buy another one it would have to have the electric roof raise system. Outfitter and north star make really nice campers.
