My 2011 Chevy 2500 weighs 6220 lbs with a 9500 lb GVW
The 1996 Skyline WeekEnder 910 weighs 3760 lbs
total 9980 lbs, only 480 over the GVW
front axle - 4400 lbs + rear axle 6200 lbs = 10,600 lbs.
Tires @ 3195 lbs = 12,780 lbs. Looks like I'm OK. ;)
Just bought the camper and I am very impressed with how well the truck carries and handles the camper.
I'll also be towing my ATV behind so add about 1200-1300 lbs to the CGVW.
I'll probably end up adding some Firestone airbags just so I don't blind oncoming traffic at night. :)
