I just rented a lance 650 for the weekend and had a ball ( I just fixed the other thread). Looking to make a purchase soon and would love to see pictures of 11 foot campers with slide outs (yes,I know there is a picture thread, but some didnt post). Thanks so much. 🙂

If you haven't looked at youtube, look there too. There are a lot of dealers who do walkthroughs of new/used models.

For sure, look at 9 1/2 TCs as well. Less overhang is advantageous.

My 2011 Chevy 2500 weighs 6220 lbs with a 9500 lb GVW
The 1996 Skyline WeekEnder 910 weighs 3760 lbs
total 9980 lbs, only 480 over the GVW

front axle - 4400 lbs + rear axle 6200 lbs = 10,600 lbs.
Tires @ 3195 lbs = 12,780 lbs. Looks like I'm OK. 😉

Just bought the camper and I am very impressed with how well the truck carries and handles the camper.

I'll also be towing my ATV behind so add about 1200-1300 lbs to the CGVW.

I'll probably end up adding some Firestone airbags just so I don't blind oncoming traffic at night. 🙂

On edit - sorry - I just realized this is an 11' camper thread. 🙂

Before you look for 11', tell us about your truck?

Mine camper is only 10'. But here is what it weighs.

This is Arctic Fox 990, loaded for 1 week vacation, trailer is a box trailer with BMW R1200GS motorcycle inside. Tong weigh was just under 400 lbs.

This means my truck weight with trailer was 13,980 lbs. my GVWR for truck is 14,000 lbs.
