I purchased the solar blankets at Bass Pro Shops for $8.00 each. It takes 2 to cover the front bunk (queen) and 1 for each of the back and side bunk. I purchase clips to hold them on from checker auto $.50 each. Whether it is Zion, Sedona, Laughlin, Death Valley or CA I always use them. You don't have to wake up at the crack of dawn because the sun is blazing through - it keeps the tent dark and cool. In the winter it keeps the heat in. Heated mattress covers become a must have in the winter. Dom
I have been working on a way to put a cover on the inside to block the light and in the mountains when its cold, keep the heat in. I am doing it more to keep it darker. I am trying to get a little creative so when I finish I will post some pics and let you know the outcome.
Have you tried to tint your windows? I have been thinking of doing that.
