I went through that with my 98.5 and 2002 Dodges. My 2006 is bone stock and I don't care what the EGT's are anymore. I just run it like the engineer that designed the engine intended :). No more intercooler hoses blowing off, no more watching the EGT and not the road, no more black smoke screens to give diesels a bad (worse) name.
