Who told you that these are undetectably by Chrysler? Will BD and EDGE put it in writing? Will they take care of you when your warranty is denied?
Yes, it is undetected unless they hook up and data log while the mods are in place which is why I went this route. My guys with both Cummins Inside and Chrysler software could not detect it. The reason being is that these mods do not reprogram or do anything to the ECM. The only thing they were able to detect from my Edge was when I changed my tire size to correct my speedo for my 34 inch tires.
All these mods do is intercept signals going to and from the ECM and alters them. For the Edge, it takes the signal that the ECM sends to the injectors on its duration and alters that signal right before it gets to the injectors to keep duration longer. For the throttle booster, it takes the input from the drive by wire pedal and alters the throttle input signal being sent to the ECM. All the ECM reads is that you are giving it more throttle, nothing more.

The TH already does what the line pressure lock does, that is why I and many other run TH all the time.
What the line booster does is intercept the signal coming from the ECM to the transmission and alters it to bump up the pressure about 10-20% from what the ECM tells it to do. So it will increase whatever input the ECM tells the transmission in TH mode as well.

Don't see the need for #2 or #3. I would need to confirm #1 is undetectable before I would consider it.
Need? I didn't say anything about needing it. I just wanted it so I got it.

Bottom line when messing with these new trucks be prepared to be "My own warranty station"
I say all these things because Chrysler does not mess around anymore when it comes to aftermarket products. Back in the day they paid out thru the nose with warranty claims because of undetectable tuners.
I know how warranty works. I used to work for Cummins and various truck manufacturers. It does not work how you think it does. Your whole warranty is not voided unless that mod effects everything on the truck. For example, the throttle booster (if it could be detected) will not void your whole warranty on your truck just because it is there. It will only void the warranty on the parts it effects which is the pedal. Your power train warranty is not effected. So if the throttle booster some how shorted out the TPS on the pedal then only the that part will be denied if it was indeed the throttle booster that caused the short. If it was not the throttle booster that caused the failure and they can't prove that it was then it is warrantable.
Like I said I know how warranty works from dealing with it on a professional level. Half the time the warranty admins (if they have one specifically for that which most small dealerships don't) is some underpaid position with a high turn around rate. Due to this, most in that position are not very knowledgeable on how it works yet like to spew how they think it works after two weeks on the job. I know this because I had to school quite a few of them when I was employed by the manufacturers I worked for on behalf of our fleet customers. Another hint is most technicians and service writers do not know what is or isn't warranty and in many cases tell you it is not warrantable because they get paid less hours through warranty than what they would charge you. So it is in their best interest(and the dealership's) to say it is not warrantable right from the start.
