Well after getting bashed on multiple sites by their weight police for asking about pulling a large Toy Hauler with an F250, and then the endless studying between an F350 DRW and Ram 3500 Mega DRW I pulled the trigger. Ended up getting a 2013 F350 Platinum DRW. Couldnt find a Ram dealer that would make all the numbers work plus couldnt find any Longhorn Limiteds on lots. It came with the 5th Wheel prep too so just need to buy a hitch and ready to go.....almost. Now just need to sell the TT and then make a trip up to Holmans to get the Cyclone. So far love the truck and cant wait to pull something with it. Something BIG though. :D

Congrats... You will love having a dually.. Post some pictures when you get a chance.

Great TV, you'll be ready for pretty much any rig you choose.

I couldn't find a ram dealer that would knock off very much. Only rebates and a little bit more. Ford dealer knocked off 11k right off the bat. The Ram dealers in this area though don't like to play ball much

Again I'm surprised that a Ford dealer was happy to take your money, but a RAM dealer wasn't. I guess all the consultation I've been receiving here is not accurate, but then again if you read it on the internet "it must be true"! :h

Don't limit yourself on hitches, especially considering you have the factory fifth wheel system on that truck.

Reese will be the hitch sold by Ford. Fits right into the factory system.

Hensley makes two air ride hitches along with an adapter that will also fit right into the factory system.

Congrats.... Those Platinum trucks are some really nice trucks.

Funny you say RAM couldn't make the deal happen. Reminds me of a member here that constantly reminds me that Ford didn't want to sell him a truck so he went with the GM's and RAM's. Oh the drama.
