Purchase Price advice on 2 yr old New TT
I've run into a 'deal' I'm seriously considering. A lot has a 2012 New (as I assume unused) TT. MSRP is ~$23.5K, asking was >$18K and he is willing to take ~$13K with my pup trade in (about $1,500)....

Potentially its a good deal. But beware no matter how you slice it the TT is 2 years old. The selling price should compensate for the age of the unit. It would not hurt to look up the current used value of the unit. That is what it will be worth when you pull off the lot.
Also be sure it is a unit you truly like. Buy it because you like it not because it's bargain priced. Do you know the history of the unit? Why has it been sitting so long?
