The bad experiences can go either way. I had a Ford that I bought new and had 1 year. Six months of that year it was in the shop for major engine rebuild. Waited 3 months for one piston. Ford would not give me anything to drive while they had it because I didn't buy an extended warranty (so they told me). I'll buy a Nissan before I'll buy another Ford. Chrysler has always done me well but I have yet to have to deal with FCA. I get the run around from them I will change me thinking.
Yeah, I know many people that have those kind of stories with at least one manufacturer.
