I have a 2005 6.0, and love it. Just returned from 15,000 roundtrip to Alaska. Pulling a SunnyBrook 31 BWFS and no problems except with the brakes on the 5th wheel. Truck preformed just fine. I did replace the EGR cooler and oil cooler at 95,000 miles. I think this truck is one of the best I have ever owned. Love driving it.
It is true that the market is depressed on the 6.0 powered trucks but they can be a good deal. Regular maintance is a must, use Motorcraft filters and Synthetic oil, (I use Rotella T-6). Change coolant regularly and enjoy your ride
