Don't know how Maxxis responds but I have heard of some Maxxis ST tire failures on much heavier rigs. Our current set of Maxxis ST tires have a bit over 20K miles towing our up to 10K# rig with no issues. I wouldn't go much heavier than 10K# on any ST tire as an LT tire is a much wiser choice for heavy rigs. We also have our tires warrantied through Discount Tire and they always take care of you when a tire fails, at least in my experience.
