Questions about adding a second awning on my TC

Hello everyone, I just picked a new to me lance 861 it has an awning on the passenger side but not on the back, I have an 8 foot box awning that I saved when I sold my last truck camper. does anyone have any experience installing one of these on the back. It looks like I will have to remove and relocate the marker lights from the top. any advice on drilling hole in the camper.
