R-vision trailers??

Hello everyone in RV world. I am looking at an R-Vision 200s 2104. I have heard good things and not so good things. I was wondering about the quality, particularly the structure quality. I really don't want big leaks down the road.
The thing is I really like the floor plan, the price is really great, and I am pretty sure I can tow it with my Nissan Frontier since it weighs about 3800lbs dry. So, I would have to have a light weight trailer anyway. I do know the company went out of business. Too bad. Not a lot of cheaper light weight trailers around with walk around beds and a dinette.
If I do decide to purchase, are there things I can do to keep it from leaking on me? I live in the Redwoods, so we do experience a lot of rain. Any info is appreciated!

We have a 2004 Trail Lite 8230. First camper we bought in 2008 and has been a very good and user friendly unit. We want a larger and newer unit but do not want any problems that we have heard of the newer (2013-present) products on the market.

I do not think I will have any trouble selling her when the time comes:)

We purchased a 2000 RVision. We sold it in 2006 as started leaking and the back of one side was de-laminating. We then purchased another TT using the traditional siding. This new one has never leaked.

This experience put me off TT with solid sides - but I have heard they have become much better.

Just one data point

I would venture that the quality of R-visions are about average, basically meaning that you wouldn't buy a house built like it, but it's like most TTs. I would take a moisture meter to check every nook and cranny. We have had some delamination, but that was the previous owner's fault, not the manufacturer. They did zero maintenance. But I can fix it and enjoy doing that kind of stuff.
Remember that you will run out of payload on the Frontier long before you hit the tow rating.
We like ours.
Good luck.

We have a 2004 R-Vision Trail-Bay Lite (31') that we purchased 10 years ago to full time in. We have traveled all over the country with it. We have never had any major problems just the normal minor issues. We are still in it in Rockport, TX. We have taken a break from full timing. R-Vision was actually taken over by another company, but they no longer support the older trailers. We love ours 🙂
