Rainforest settings for TC photos?

I have noticed the bulk of the Photos submitted for trip reports are primarily in fairly dry areas. That is a generalisation , but TC’s in Alaska are rare or a rainforest are non existent.
This shot of a Pop Up manufacturers TC in an Australian Forest is fairly common here. Pickup is a VW Amarok

Would be nice to see photos other than the desert. Seeing that TC’s roam everywhere. Reminds me of those Old Westerns where the backdrop was Utah

Pacific North West (PNW) West coast - lots of forest, lots of rain - from about October to May. Western part of Oregon has many choices Coast - Forest and couple hours inland High Desert. I agree I haven't seen as many photos as I would have thought of the region, but then I don't post either....so I can't complain.

I think jimh425 nailed in first post on this thread.

Also DW is more comfortable in an organized campground, and a bit nervous boondocking - so the larger rig (compared to OP) is more suited to campgrounds and open space country. Still I am looking forward to when we retire and take longer road trips more often!

Seen no shots of TC’s in Alaska or ones of a TC in a Rainforest. Primarily shots of TC’s in arid areas for example Utah

No Tropical Jungle in California. Yes I have been alll over California, prefer New Zealand for dramatic changes in scenery in a relative small area,

Basically means you are limited to where you can go. More top heavy

Well, the trucks are typically smaller in Australia.

In California, it is about a 3 hour drive from rainforest, to ocean beach, to alpine mountains, to open plains, to desert. Ranging from 200' below sea level to 14,000 ft above, and annual rainfalls from less than 2"/yr to over 150"/yr. That 3 hour drive is typically on the freeway though, not along cowtracks and through streams :).

Funny how the rigs seem to follow the general stereotype, the Australian ones seem better suited for the rugged “outback” and the American ones are huge heavy hotels.

These TC’s more correctly Slideons are valuable going through Rainforest or were you need a Low Centre of Gravity carrying a Camper

The vast majority of truck campers are in the USA & Canada (maybe include northern mexico)...not a lot of tropical rain forest around.

If you want some pictures, look for blogs of the pan-american highway. The Central America portion and if they divert to Brazil will usually get you some pictures in jungle.

Saw many TC's in Alaska last summer. Most of them rentals.
