Now a mythical web link? Besides they are not counted as Trucks outside NA , cars or Utes. . Trucks Globally vastly larger than the US market.
Seriously, you literally quoted that link several posts back.
Worlds best selling pickup 2018
Top 10 best selling pickup models globally in 2018

2. Chevrolet Silverado (NA truck)-651,131
3. Ram pick-up (NA truck)- 623,444
4. Toyota Hilux (global truck)-548,313
5. Isuzu D-Max (global truck)- 301,629
6. GMC Sierra (NA truck)- 274,198
7. Toyota Tacoma (NA truck)- 270,276
8. Ford Ranger (global truck)- 267,153
9. Chevrolet Colorado (mixed)- 169,220 (134,842 of those sold in US)
10. Toyota Tundra (NA truck)- 131,760
So to say that North American truck sales are insignificant in overall global truck sales is just plain false. We call them trucks regardless of what everyone else calls them. After all, you call them utes when the rest of the world doesn't, but you don't see me chastising you for calling them that.RobertRyan wrote:
You still do not get it that is what I was referring too. If you think it is wonderful, then I cannot do anything about that
I know what you were referring to. You stated that the Isuzu goes 220k miles before a rebuild and I stated that the Cummins has a B50 life of 350k meaning that 50% of the engines will need major repairs at 350k. Since the 6.7L goes into many applications from medium duty trucks, farm tractors, buses, generators, boats, and pick-up trucks, the 50% of the engines requiring major repair is statistically more of the severe - medium duty applications and not the pick-up trucks which means they will likely go a lot longer before needing any major repairs. In fact, there are already plenty of 6.7L's in the Cummins high mileage club that have gone well over 500k miles without an overhaul.
Wrong again, and obviously false, they are not Trucks:R Outide NA they would be cars or Utes, or more correctly Pickups As far as the Cummins goes my comment has not changed if you think that is good then that is your opinion
