Well Bucky if you think the grass is greener at a different manufacture you are in for a rude awakening. GM and Ford are no different then FCA when it comes to how the handle their warranty payments to their dealers. How do I know, a very good friend owns dealerships under along with four import brands. All he does is complain how they ALL make his butt hurt.
You seem to be a smart guy so I have to think you already know this right?
Lets not forget that FCA as only owned Chrysler for a short time and the last two clowns did nothing but rape Chrysler. The only guy to make out was Robert Eaton to the tune of 100,000 paid out over ten years, one year after he sold us to Damn-Lire.
To answer this question "Don't go blaming your vendors, that's a cop out. Where is your quality control protocols?" FCA has actually tightened our "Quality Protocols". GM still is having issues getting parts for their recall campaigns so you may want to not go to work for a GM store if supply chine issues make you upset ;)
