GM will stand by their 100,000 mile warranty on the CP4 and then there is a nice conversion kit to the CP3 pump for under $3K after 100K miles.

I priced out the cp3 kit and with labor was over 4k. I could not justify spending that much on the very low percentage chance my cp4 pump would fail. But it does cause me worry now and again. Pretty much every time I research the topic on the internet!
