Learned this trick from my Dad. Got REAL tired of receiving all their mail as soon as I hit 50. So I would put everything inside their paid return envelope. This did NOT deter them! So I went with the "Nuclear" option. I cut a flat pc of lead and put in the envelope, THAT cost them some $$$, never heard from them again. Yes I said please don't send me any of your offers to me on every returned offer. Lead was free as it was removed from old Medical/Dental X-ray rooms.
If you don't understand the big deal to them it's because they pay for whatever weight the mailed item is.
