Recommendations on a Small and Light TT

We recently sold our Class C MH and are considering a small TT for trips a week or less. We don't want a pickup, so are considering a mid-size SUV. We looked at the Riverside Retro 177 and like the size, but would like something with some outside storage. Any recommendations on what we should consider? Thank you in advance.

First for me, too. I checked out ParkLiner on the FGRV forum and found that a few members there had them. Apparently the company isn't even sure how many they've made. (Must be an interesting place at tax time.) The common conclusion is less than 100, though.

When I first heard about them over a year ago, I did a little research on them. But I haven't looked into them much since then. I hope they make it, as I know it is hard to start up a new company like that and be successful at it.

I highly recommend the Winnebago Minnie Winnie 2101DS. The dry weight is 3780lbs and pulls great with a WDH and sway control.

How about a Winnebago Minnie or Micro Minnie? Very high owner satisfaction. They have quite a few different floor plans available.

For a mid sized SUV we've loved our 2004 Hemi Durango. We pulled a 5000lb TT for 10 years with excellent results. I prefer the 2004-2010 Durangos because of stiffer frame and live axles over the 2011+ version.

Parkliner is new to me as well and it's only a couple of hours away. Another one on my list to check out.

I'll give them this, they're one of the few manufacturers that give detailed dimensions of their layout.

Tom, I did look at the Egg Camperonline, some time ago, but did not notice the great headroom -- thanks for the tip!

First read up on Parkliner sketchy fit and finish, customer service, ignoring warranty work, deleting their facebook customer complaint posts ETC.

Fallsrider, I had never heard of the Parkliner till now -- thanks for posting that link! It looks like it has 6'5" headroom, which is amazing for an Egg. Sadly, I rejected Casita and Scamp for that reason, but now I will have to think about fiberglass for my next trailer. Big news!

Check out the Parkliner, another fiberglass trailer. It is made here in Gibsonville, NC.

You might want to check out the R-Pod. It's an easy tow and not anywhere near as expensive as a Camplite or Casita.

Have you seen the Coachmen Clipper. We had the 17FQ model. Weighed a little less than 3000 pounds dry with around 300 pound tongue weight. Nice queen bed front with a great bath with vanity ,sink and medicine cabinet. Nice awning and roof mounted A/C.

Maybe check out the smallest Fun Finders -- and please feel free to check out our blog links, below. We used to tow with a Pathfinder -- I switched to a Tacoma for the cargo capacity, but the Nissan was more than adequate.
