Recommendations on bunkhouse one ton tow?

Anyone have certain bunkhouse TT they’ve really liked?
  • We love our Windjammer 3006WK. It is one of the few bunkhouses we looked at that has a good sized master bedroom and bunkroom, and both are private and closed off with solid doors. Also, it has a direct entry into the bathroom, which is great. Plus, a really cool outdoor kitchen.

  • Since you said One ton tow, we love our Jayco Jayflight Bungalow 40BHQS. The bunk house has 2 opposing slides which makes for lots of room. There are 4 bunks, 2 trundle beds (one under each set of bunks) and a half bath. Our 2 kids, 17 and 15, have the run of the bunk house. We have slept 5 teens in the bunk house a few times.

Yes, it is a Destination Trailer, however with a GVWR of 13,000lbs, it can be towed by a 1 Ton. Actually Ford claims the 2019 F250 Super Duty (gas and diesel) can tow it with 14k - 15k tow rating.

If you are looking for a more traditional TT, Jayco makes several bunk houses in different lengths. They have bunk houses with 2 double beds and bunk houses with 4 single beds. The bunk houses with single beds usually have the option to replace one or both of the lower bunks with a sofa bed or a dinette. Jayco Jayflight 26BH, 27BHS, 28BHBE, 28BHS and 29BHDB are, double bed bunks. For single bed bunks, there are the 31QBDS, 32BHDS, 32TSBH, 33RBTS and the 38BHDS. There may be others that I missed, but I think I got them all in the Jayflight line.

  • I really like the Keystone Outback 301BQ. It is a discontinued floorplan, but size, weight and feature hits a sweet spot for me. Occasionally I look for a 2014-2015 Diamond Package example.
  • I used to own a Passport 2910BH...family of six. Pulled it with my Yukon
