Refrigerator and/or sink and/or range in slide?

I've looked at several floor plans with one or more kitchen components in a slide-out. Generally just the refrigerator, or the whole thing.

I've read about issues with refrigerator venting in a slide, and don't want to have to add a fan. Is this common? Is there anyway to fix it besides a fan?

I'm also less than thrilled about subjecting propane hose and plumbing to the motion of moving the slide. Is this a problem waiting to happen? If so, what can be done to mitigate it?

Usually there is a fan already behind the fridge in side vented installations. I don't like the waste of battery power to run the fan when dry camping.

Our trailer has sink, stove and fridge in the slide and no problems so far. We use the trailer about five months per year and this is the 5th season. Typically we visit 30 to 40 campsites per winter so the slide is oved often.

Pretty happy with my tv/stereo/fireplace/fridge/stove/oven in the big slide. No issues yet but in a really hot setting...I would think a 12v fan would help the efficiency of the fridge venting. For sure keep an eye on the wires/LP lines under the slide for debris and the mechanisms that support them. I have heard of the brackets failing or not scissoring closed right.

Flexible propane lines are used when the fridge is in the slide. No problems with mine.

My fridge vent has a fan in it already
