Hi guys.
Seems my 2012 6.7 litre f350 has all of a sudden loved the regeneration thing!
I am talking 4 straight days I get the screen prompt " cleaning exhaust filter" while still on same tank of fuel?....
I always kept it finish when started as I did have an issue with sensors in the first year of ownership and learning Diesel patterns. I even reset the trip meter when regen starts to know it is within range of completion.
For what it's worth truck runs great during entire process.
Anyone have this happen?
I did have the latest reflash at dealer as per letter sent from Ford.
Thanks
I had this a year or so ago. MPG was significantly lower too. On mine, eventually a CEL was set and got a P249F, which indicated EGT12 sensor was going bad. This is the sensor that gets the hottest during regen. As soon as I swapped that sensor out, truck dropped into regen, but this time completed, and went back to normal.
If you run Torque-Pro with a Bluetooth OBDII adapter, you can display the running EGT11-14 sensors. You may see something out of whack.
