I have a 2012 Duramax that regens like a mofo (every 150-200mi) since the day I drive it home. Doesn't really make much difference if city or highway driving. Most see 5-700mi under similar conditions which is what I would consider normal for the LML. There are several on the Dmax forum with trucks like mine and the only response we can get from GM is no code-no problem. Really??? Then why does that guys truck go 2-3x mine? I am aware of all the cited reasons that can affect regen frequency but my personal opinion is they have minimal affect at best, but definately not 2-3x. Many of us have come to the conclusion we have leaking injectors causing dirty running trucks which would make since why GM doesn't want to admit a problem. Many guys with these frequent regen trucks who got fed up and deleted are now seeing how dirty they run vs a non-frequent regen truck running the same delete tune. GM is simply hiding behind the DPFs on these trucks claiming there is no problem. I know this is about GM but I can't believe Ram and Ford aren't dealing with the same.
I agree with you. I think its time to pull the injectors and an test for bleed down and pattern.
