I don't know what we did before the internet- well unfortunately I do. Living in a small town, still we use to have 2 hardware stores, 5 miles away was another 3. Down to the 1 ace within 25 miles and 3/4 of inventory is same overseas stuff pickup online for 1/2 to 1/3 cost. Sad.
Lucky to find anything and killing all day if I have to go over the hill. Still look locally first but if I have to order...
Yeah, I live in the middle of nowhere, and if I didn't have Amazon, I'd work a lot harder finding what I need. Well, actually, most of what I do/make/remodel comes directly out of my large stash of fabric/wood/broken things & junk haha
