Does anyone know of some type of spool or spindle or Something to wind the electrical cord? The cabinet that ours retracts into has quite of bit of storage room, but the cord just lays on the bottom and gets tangled. Any advice appreciated! Thanks!

Are you kidding me. What are they made of?

I hate the detachable power cord, the worst thing that has been invented in the RV industry. It's cheap, so let the customer figure out how to deal with it. Invest in a new cord or ?

I am in the process of the or?. The power cord on our camper is on it's last legs, as far as the contacts are concerned. By the time we head out next year, I'll be back to what I have been used to, a direct connect cord that stores in it's own little home.

I put an outlet on the trailer and coil the cord up in a Home Depot bucket.

There are many models but remember that the less expensive ones are only good for 10 amps or so. I have seen them improperly used and they can melt the slip ring contacts inside.

There are more than a few retractable cord reels that could be installed. A simpler, less expensive alternative is to install a power inlet on the side of your trailer so that the cord becomes detachable.
