I have a neighbor that just ordered a Retro camper and was wondering if anyone knows anything about them.
I have done some reacearch on them but can't seem to find information as to quality and durability.
They seem to resemble rigs of the 50's from what I've seen.

Last week I stopped at a dealer to look at a retro style trailer by Terry. Beautiful, gleaming bare aluminum and a big front window. But 4200+ lbs dry weight riding on a single (allegedly) 5000 lb axle. Hardly any CCC and a lot of stress on 2 15" tires. No thanks.

I think they are cute but not nearly big enough for the cost. That is usually the issue with low volume TTs.
Twenty six foot 2010 Dutchmen Lite pulled with a 2011 EcoBoost F-150 4x4.

Just right for Grandpa, Grandma and the dog.

The problem I see with retro's or anything else unusual is when it is time to sell you have to find someone with the same unusual taste as you. Much harder than trying to sell a more standard unit.

The big whitewall tires were an issue. I see they're still on 2018 models.

Issue in what way?

Like I said were an issue. But I still see WW tires on them so just wondering who makes them.

Interesting. Thanks!

They come at a premium for their size and build quality.
