Review of Adventurer 89RB, anyone here?

I saw this review on Mellow Mike's site below, it was interesting to me as I have the same camper.

Is this anyone on the forum? I noticed the doors on the wings and mine doesn't have that. I was hoping to find out if this was factory or a modification made by the owner. I've often thought of boxing in the wings and putting on doors to add some storage.

Hedge, you are correct. I have the Super Step.I stand corrected.I am curious to see or hear how he went about relocating the tie downs. I would be fearful moving such a critical piece without the blessing of the manufacturer. Interesting.

I think you have that backwards, the big one is the 'Comfort step'. I have it on mine, it does add length and required me to get a longer supertruss extension but when not towing it's great.

I never noticed the tiedown location until you mentioned it, I think maybe he added other mounts as mine is much farther back as well. I think we'll find out when the next article comes out.

I think the new ones also come with another removable entry step which I didn't get but don't really think I'd need, never noticed the last step in to be that high.

I also own a 2015 89RB.That is a big step without the rear bumper. I did not get the Super step bumber option. Just the Comfort Step. I thought it would make the camper truck package to long. I sometimes tow a boat trailer as well as an ATV Trailer.Being a short bed makes that reach even further back. Also the rear tie down location is much more forward than on mine. The connection is inside the rear wing area. As a matter of fact I just loaded the camper hoping to get up to Lincoln NH. in a couple weeks. I also added Hypervent material under the mattres after hearing about moisture collecting or forming under the mattress in the cold weather. It is always nice to read about someone having good luck with a product that you decided to buy.

Actually, those are a modification done by the writer of the article. The modification article will be published next month.

I owned a 2012 Adventurer 86FB model and TC did not have storage in wing either. Never saw them on the 89RB either. I would call Adventurer. Check there website. They were very good regarding warranty issues for me. Wish I never sold camper to this day.
