Riverside travel trailers.

I am currently considering switching back to a towable. We found a 2011 Riverside 29RKS,to our liking. I don't know much at all about this brand and am looking for opinions, pro and con. Thank you for your replies.

I'm not sure about the "entry level" classification. Quite frankly, 99% of the TT's I've walked through of all different manufacturers appeared to be cheaply constructed and have had some level of poor craftsmanship.

Riverside actually appears to have a lot of upgraded features, and the pricing I've seen for their used models has been higher than comparably sized units. I am especially intrigued by their loft models, and would love to hear from someone who has actually been in one regarding the true usability of the lower section (for kids). I've read before that it was 4' of headroom, which doesn't excite me.

Nothing wrong with an entry level trailer if that's where your budget is. We had a heck of lot of fun with our entry level Skyline Aljo 25ft for 10 years, $16K out the door, and sold it to friends for $6K and they go camping with us a lot and it's still a good trailer.

I have not owned one but I have walked through 2 or 3 of them. There was a dealer in my area for a while. They no longer sell them though.

They seemed to be pretty good quality but the wood, cushions, etc. were a little dark for my taste in the few units I walked through. There were nice touches that made them a step above entry level, as I recall.

pretty much an entry level unit, built like they all are. Nothing wrong with it, made by Adventure mfg which also made the Timberlodge, an odd wedge shaped TT that was very high in the back due to a loft area. I think Adventure is out of business now, someone correct me if I'm wrong. There is also a trailer co. called riverside which may be the maker of yours, look at vin sticker to see. They advertise aluminum sided trailers only, claiming they are better than fiberglass which is an age old debate with pros and cons on both sides.
