at Mammoth if you turn right on Benton Crossing just south of the airport on 395 go until just after the 3rd cattle crossing (painted or metal)and take the dirt road to the right. Keep left at any forks and you will end up at a parking area/ boondocking spot with a fence. 200 yards past the fence is a 24 hour go soak in a hot spring. great place to spend the night. google maps shows it as Wild Willys hot spring
