Thanks Buzz for the snowy/icy views in one of our favorite spots. We've only seen the valley with a little dusting snow. Were we years younger we'd follow in your wakes.
I'd say all of the male gender TC'ers herein have been chosen by females of a different cut. These women are of the same variety that chose to cross in Conestoga wagons, or sailed in square riggers to the new world. We are often deluded to believe that we're the tough ones.
Linda, among many other accomplishments, held Coast Guard Captains papers. Some men on hearing this said," I think I'll get licensed." As if it were an easy task. The starting requirement to sit for her grade level papers was 720 days at sea aboard a commercial vessel.
She has always been ready and willing to chase the horizon to where ever it might lead. Linda was the prime mover in the choice to set up a truck camper to camp for weeks on the sand at Assateague Island and travel the continent, and I'm the lucky duck she chose to travel with.
