Rockwood Ultra Lite 2304ds vs Jayco Jay Flight 23MDS

I'm excited to see that travel trailers are starting to have Muurphy beds and have fallen in love with the Rockwood Ultra Lite 2304ds. I searched the internet to see what else was out there that was similar and came across the Jayco Jay Flight 23MDS but was amazed at the higher price tag. Is there a big difference in quality? Does anyone more experienced than me know the difference?

We've had Jayco Eagle and Rockwood Windjammer trailers. Construction quality was much better on the Rockwood. Wife noticed it right away.

BTW for $150 Forest River extends their warranty on the Rockwood trailers to two years.
Good luck on your choice.

I really wanted this model too, or its Flagstaff identical twin. The combination of Murphy bed and opposing double slides makes for the roomiest possible unit at that length and weight.

I never ran across an actual one to look at, don't know why they were not present at any of the shows or dealers I went to.

I just bought a Jay Feather 23RBM (by Jayco) new at the huge RV show in Tampa. It is lighter than the Forest River product by about 600 lbs, which was very important to me. It still was very roomy inside, and had lots of kitchen space, also very important to me.

I looked at other Rockwood models, and the Jay Feather line seemed of equal build quality, at what seemed a slightly lower price point, and had a 2 year warranty. I also got really good reviews of Jayco products from what I considered to be industry insiders who weren't trying to sell me anything.

If you have any questions, PM me.
