roof coating

This may be a dumb idea , but I am wondering if anybody has ever thought about doing a roof coating like what is used for a spray in truck bed liner?? I wonder if it would work to replace a rubber roof and last.

    Wow that looks really interesting!
I wonder if there is anyone on this forum that has done this to their rig and what their thoughts on it are?
This place is not far from where I live. I would have seriously checked it out had I not just paid CW $1300.00 to recaulk my roof. Thanks for the link Dtaylor! I'll keep them in mind.

  • Im thinking the truck bed lining might be heavy as well, would be terrible if it came off as a sheet going down the highway.
  • RV FlexArmor is another.

The difference between this and a truck bed lining is that these stretch and bend, while just a plain bedliner would crack, and cause gaps that water can intrude in.

I really want to see some place in central TX that offers either of these, just because it would give peace of mind, and make the 90 day roof checkup just a quick look for obvious cracks, as opposed to having to get the Dicor tubes and scraper. I'd even have this done over a fiberglass roof just so that areas normally sealed by caulk are completely covered over.
