RV Transport options

Want this trailer that is 1350 miles away from me. Does anyone have a reliable ,reasonable, dependable transport company they can recommend.
Do not have the time to go get it.
thanks very much
  • Star transport out of Goshen Indiana they have trucks delivering trailers all over the country
  • Honestly.. If you REALLY "want it" you WILL be able to "make time" to get it..

1350 miles is a long long way away from you.. Paying a shipping company is pretty much going to bust your budget (I doubt your going to find any RELIABLE shipping co for under several dollars per mile)..

Travel trailers are a dime a dozen used.. I would move on and find something one heck of a lot closer..
  • Unless you have $2,000 to spend you are probably wasting your money. If this is a new trailer and you are saving thousands the dealer can probably hook you up with transportation. If this is a used trailer you are probably wasting your money. I believe the going rate is around $1.69 a mile plus fuel surcharges.

Cheaper to take a weeks vacation and do it yourself.

If it was new, I would hate to have to take it back for warranty repairs.
  • Many dealers will move it for you. For a price. Most I've shopped have an old 3/4 ton or 1-ton pickup that they use for paid deliveries, and free closer deliveries.

Normally warranty work can be done locally by any authorized RV repair shop. Lots of people buy out of town and get work done where ever they are. If you buy one today and 6 months from now you're 4 states away on a 2 month trip, are you going to quit your vacation and drive home to get it fixed?
