Has anyone ever dealt with rvwholesalers.com located in Ohio? We are looking to upgrade our unit, and I got a quote from them about $4000 cheaper than my local dealer. I have a trade in I would have to drive the 500 miles to Ohio to do the deal. So based on anyone's experience with rvwholesalers.com are they worth dealing with especially if I have to drive to Ohio to trade my current unit in?
Are you guaranteed the same trade in price at both?
Ask RVW for a list of all the service establishments who are signatory to their "Nationwide Service Network" and see if they provide one. They won't because there is none. Don't be suprised when you need warranty service and they can not find someone local to you to perform it.
I also would bet that the price quoted is contingent on signing up with their financing?
They are wholesale by their own definition as there is no wholesale with RV's. They are just a dealer the same as any other, and a good amount of the money your saving is because shipping is less for them, they're a lot closer to Indiana.
I negotiated with them in good faith in 2009 via phone and the web, and when I arrived at their location in Lakeview OH the terms of the deal had changed. I ended up walking, but was still out the cost of a 500+ mile round trip for nothing.
