I am looking at a Salem camp lite 195 bunkhouse to purchase. Looking for suggestions, concerns or great experiences with this camper or brand. Some of the reviews online have not been very good so I am quite concerned. The camper looks like it is in great shape. It comes with added features of sway bar and breaking system.

We bought a new Forest River and like all of them when we got it home had to snug up a screw or 2 and glue a piece of trim, " had to do alot more to the lance " with that said we really like the camper and it seems to be well built so far.

I go over all the new campers with a fine toothed comb when we get them home and all (out of the last 7 )needed something tweeked.

just look it over good and have fun camping.

As a 2017 Forest river trailer owner: if it is new don't touch it!
If it is an older model, it might be OK.

I would never buy another one

I'm not a fan of single axel trailers and you won't be either when you have a blowout. My other concern is where would you sit other than the dining booth? That's not comfortable after 5 minutes or so and you can't be outside all the time.
