Sales tax question
If I'm a SD resident and purchase. A new vehicle in NC, which state's sales tax do I pay? I believe it's SD. What say you? Thanks in advance.

So....are you saying that if the paperworki showed you buying and taking delivery of it in Indiana, you would have to pay full sales tax both there AND in NC ?? I guess that's possible but I really doubt it.
How exactly does taking delivery of it in Illinois make things any different ? I think Illinois has one of the highest sales taxes in the country AND I KNOW that they don't usually overlook collecting it because I lived there for about 50 years.
