Seat/step for the dogs!
The things we do for our dogs! 
First, buy a TC to travel in so we can take the dogs with us...they aren't staying in a kennel. Buy a crew cab dually so we can haul a TC....and the dogs...modify the backseat area for their riding comfort. Buy the extendable pet steps for the back of the TC so the dogs can get in and out easier. Our little rescue sleeps in the bed at night with us but the Lab couldn't jump up during the day to get a little 'quiet time' and I can't pick her up sooooo....lets build a seat/step so the dogs can get up in the cabover when they want and oh yeah...wifey sometimes needs a little help too so I built this.
The step swings down when needed and easily supports my weight. When not used as step it is a handy storage/seat.
