Shakedown cruise for our “new to us” 1998 Sunnybrook 26’ trailer:
Mountain Home, Idaho – Baker City, Oregon – Tacoma, Washington – Tillamook, Oregon – Redwoods National Park, California – Crater Lake, Oregon – Baker City, Oregon – Mountain Home, Idaho – Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah – Zion National Park, Utah – Mountain Home, Idaho.
About 6,000 miles on the truck, maybe 4,000 on the trailer. Learned a lot about camping and pulling a trailer. We did get kind of stuck in a parking lot in Newport Oregon, but with some careful backing we managed to escape with no scratches or dents.
Had a great time and saw lots of beautiful country.

Where did you stay at Crater Lake? We're going there in a couple of weeks.

Wife and I figured out that we stayed at Crater Lake RV Park. It was very wooded with nice amenities. I think we only stayed one night.

I meant to say "Diamond Lakes north of the park" It was very late after a long drive home.

Congrats on your shakedown.. We did something similar.. One quick run to the coast, then a 8000+ mile cross-country road trip.. Learned so much and had lots of help along the way. By the end of the cruise, I was helping other newbies.

We were there a few years ago. I will ask my wife in the morning where we stayed. It was real nice.

We stayed at the Fort Klamath resort on highway 62. It was really nice, but we were really close together. There were also some rv parks on dianond lake north of the park that looked nice.
